Eighteen years had passed since three women walked away from the Singhania Palace carrying secrets no one else knew existed.
The world had changed around them.
The Son of Surya
The Kurukshetra war has entered its darkest chapter. Bhishma has fallen, Karna has entered the battlefield and the war between the Pandavas and Kauravas is fiercer than ever. But when three young princes - Abhimanyu, Lakshman and Vrishketu are mysteriously kidnapped by a powerful asura, the war suddenly takes an unexpected turn. Arjuna will do anything to save his son. Duryodhana refuses to abandon his son. Karna will tear apart the heavens to bring Vrishketu home. And somehow, the three fathers must work together. But the asura cannot be defeated by ordinary warriors. An ancient prophecy speaks of a mysterious warrior who alone possesses the power to destroy him. He must be: The son of Surya. A disciple of Parashurama. The bearer of a weapon blessed by Shiva. And a warrior who possesses the virtues of all five Pandavas. Krishna knows exactly who the prophecy describes. And he knows something else. The Pandavas have an elder brother. A brother they have never known. A brother who already knows them. A brother who is standing on the opposite side of the battlefield. But Krishna refuses to reveal his identity. Instead, the truth must be discovered during the battle. As Karna faces the asura, the clues begin falling into place. His divine birth. His training. His legendary bow, Vijaya. His courage. His generosity. His strength. His wisdom. His righteousness. His mastery of the bow. And finally, the Pandavas realize the impossible truth.. The warrior they have fought for years is their eldest brother. But discovering that Karna is their brother is only the beginning. Because Duryodhana has absolutely no intention of letting his best friend get "stolen" by the Pandavas. What follows is a journey filled with ancient prophecies, divine weapons, dangerous battles, unexpected alliances, sibling revelations, emotional confrontations and a completely chaotic family.
